Garden Inspired

Some years back, I traded 15 acres of rolling hills for this 1/2 block in the inner burbs of Melbourne. I initially fell in love with the house and its solid floor to ceiling glass windows, that well, quite frankly, sadly lacked a view. A solid brick wall was pretty much the view from most of those glorious glass panes, and a patch of metre high weeds that seemed to yell dig me out if you dare.
It was all a bit bleak. Potential, I told myself, a bit like a blank canvass that’s just waiting, stretched and ready. Today, its covered in 5 varieties of clematis that herald Spring, Boston Ivy for Autumn and Ficus and Jasmine to keep me cool and verdant through summer.
Oh and I did it all myself!
